SteakUmms? Today, out of nowhere, I was hit with a memory of being psyched to eat steakumms for dinner instead of mom’s home-cooked meals. I remember microwaving the thin slabs of frozen “meat” and slapping it on some bread, where the grease and oil would sink in and turn the bread all brown and mushy.
God I loved SteakUmms.

ZERO TOTAL CARBS PER SERVING?! Now that’s crazy.
Love the “kid food” memories. I was just talking with some people yesterday about this. I said “Oh, for me it’s totally cheese melted on bread in the microwave,” and then someone else said “Mine’s cheese and onions on bread,” and then someone else said “I totally used to make mini pizzas, too!”
And then, just when we thought we all shared the same childhood memories of homemade microwaved pizzas, the last guy went “Oh man, me too! But for me it was tacos!”
Tacos?
